Cornerstone Habitat and Land Management, LLC is a Veteran-family Owned business located in Southeast Ohio. We opened our doors in 2021 after continuously seeing landowners in our area with a need for professional habitat design and implementation services to help them manage their properties for wildlife. Since beginning, we’ve worked with private landowners, conservation organizations, state agencies, and other businesses, and can honestly say that we've learned something new every day. We love helping landowners transform their properties and look forward to doing so for a long time to come. We strive to build healthy landscapes that can stand the test of time, so that both current and future generations can reap the benefits of our work. Through detailed management prescriptions that are easy for landowners to follow and implement, we set priorities of work, schedules of treatment, and clear indicators of progress that allow clients to maximize the time and effort spent on their properties. If a landowner needs assistance getting everything started, we have an excellent team of trained technicians and a network of related professionals capable of meeting just about any need a landowner may have. No two properties are the same, and we love tackling unique challenges for clients. Contact us now to tell us about your habitat project.
David grew up in Ohio and spent every spare minute he had in the outdoors. But, just like his parents and grandparents before, duty called and he joined the military after college. After serving eight years, honorably, in the U.S. Army, he medically retired in 2018. The GI bill then allowed him to finally pursue his passion- Wildlife Management. Armed with a degree in Wildlife Conservation and years of experience managing his own farm in Southern Ohio primarily for wildlife, David began volunteering his time helping friends, family, and neighbors with their habitat needs. After seeing a need for professionals in the industry, David brought the idea to his wife, and just months after the birth of their son, he added: Owner -Cornerstone Habitat to his resume. This business is truly his passion, and though he comes home bruised, bloody, and exhausted every day, he loves what he does because the work matters. The reason David puts his boots on every day is to make this region better for wildlife and more productive for each landowner he is working for. Give us a call, he’d love to assist you with your property next.
